Featureless Ghost’s approach to live electronic and vocal performance oscillates between the ecstatic experience and the darker moments on the dancefloor. Performing and recording music together since 2007, Matt Weiner and Elise Tippins recently relocated from Brooklyn to Atlanta and spontaneously formed “Featureless Ghost.” Their project evolved exponentially over the course of a year and since then, the prolific duo has released 2 full lengths, 3 singles, and an EP. Their music is visually accompanied by 3 self-produced full length music videos (the first of which premiered on Pitchfork TV), and 3 video collages. Featureless Ghost continues to draw attention both locally and abroad for their distinct version of cyberized, industrial-tinged, synth-wave and for their dancefloor-ready performance and recordings. They have just released a cassette on Crash Symbols and will be releasing a cassette followed by an LP through Night People in the first half of 2012.
